MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – At least four people includibg Somali nationals have been killed and properties robbed after unknown South African stormed Somali owned shop in Khayelitsha, a slum near Cape Town.
According to witnesses, Yasin Omar and Yusuf Jowhar along with two other Malawian nationals.
The gunmen reportedly made away with cash and valuable things.
The murder of the victims comes barely 72 hours after another Somali national was killed in South Africa.
For years, South African police have been accused of being complicit in attacks against immigrants, something that prompted many immigrants including Somalis to possess illegal arms in a desperate attempt to defend themselves and their properties against gangs.
Dozens of Somalis have been killed in South Africa for the past few years. Many of them have had their businesses robbed and seriously wounded.
