MADRID (Halbeeg News) – Liverpool has lifted their sixth Champions League trophy after defeating Tottenham 2-0 in an all-English final in Madrid.
Mo Salah scored a penalty for Liverpool in the first two minutes of the game after a handball from Sissoko while Divock Origi scored Liverpool’s second goal in the 87th minute.
The teams paused prior to kick-off in memory of footballer Jose Antonio Reyes who died on a car accident earlier in the on Saturday.
