Dubai (Halbeeg News) – Somalia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to enhance their bilateral relations following a meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
In a statement, the government of UAE said President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met on Wednesday.
The two leaders discussed ongoing relations between the two nations and areas for further cooperation, especially concerning enhancing development and stability in Somalia.
The meeting took place at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023), which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
