MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – At least a driver has been killed and another three wounded when the lorry they were travelling in was hit by a landmine in southern Somalia.
According to the state-owned media, Al-Shabaab planted the landmine on the ground to target Somali forces in the Bakool region.
The explosion happened near Quracjome town.
No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack but Al-Shabaab is believed to be behind the blast as the group has previously carried out similar attacks on Somalia and AU troops in the Horn of Africa nation.
