MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, met with Somali businessmen in Kenya at the country’s Presidential Palace to discuss their role in contributing to the country’s drought relief efforts.
President Mohamud has called on Somali businessmen in Kenya to play their part in strengthening investment in Somalia and implementing the recently announced national job creation program, thanking them for their efforts to strengthen the government.
The businessmen who arrived in Mogadishu to attend the inauguration of the 10th President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud congratulated him on his election and pledged to play a positive role in the country’s drought relief efforts.
Somali businessmen in Kenya have repeatedly participated in relief efforts for Somalis affected by the recurring drought.
