MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Major roads in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu have been closed as the city is in preparation to host the inauguration ceremony of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Hundreds of security were deployed on the major roads including Maka Almukarama, SNA Hospital road, Km4, Sobe and October 21st Road in Mogadishu.
The inauguration ceremony Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is set to take place this week and is currently underway in Mogadishu.
The government is also gearing up to receive an international delegation to attend the inauguration of President Hassan Sheikh in Mogadishu.
Preliminary delegations are currently arriving in Mogadishu on behalf of some of the African leaders invited to the inauguration ceremony.
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed and Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh are among the leaders expected to attend the inauguration.
