BAIDOA ( Halbeeg News) – Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre held meeting with the representatives of International partners in Baidoa on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by regional officials led by Leader, Abdiaisis Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen, ambassadors and the representatives of international humanitarian agencies.
The gathering focused on ways to strengthen development and humanitarian projects in the Southwest state of Somalia.
Speaking during the meeting, Mr. Lafta Garen of the Southwest state outlined development plans for the region and called upon international partners in the meeting to help his administration in the realization of the community development projects.
On his part, Prime Minister Hassan Kheyre stressed the need by the international community to prioritize ongoing regional administration projects by intensifying their support.
On their side, the international community officials pledged to improve their support, while praising the efforts by the Hassan Kheyre led government in fortifying peace, security, economy, and reconciliation in the country.
A forum to deliberate cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and its international partners is scheduled in Mogadishu before end of the year
