MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News)-Senior Somali security officials have attended the funeral and burial ceremony of the deputy Somali air force commander, General Mohamed Adan Samatar on Wednesday.
The general who passed away on Tuesday evening was laid to rest at air force memorial cemetery at air force headquarters in the Somali capital.
The chief of general staff, General Dahir Adan Elmi Indho Qarshe and General Mohamud Sheikh Ali, the Somali National Air Force (SNAF) commander and
other senior security officials were present during the burial ceremony.
The officials from the armed forces sent their condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
The late Somali National Air Force (SNAF) deputy commander, General Mohamed Adan Samatar died in Mogadishu hospital on Tuesday following a short illness.
