GENEVA(Halbeeg-News)- Somali prime minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre has jetted out of the country on his way to Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday.
The premier is expected to address the human rights council meeting to brief the state of human rights issues in Somalia.
The prime minister and his delegation are also set to attend among other meetings including a conference to highlight unemployment challenges facing women and youth across the globe.
According to sources privy to meetings in Geneve, Somali PM, Hassan Kheyre will meet and discuss with officials from Qatar fund and Selectec organizations respectively in a project aimed to create employment opportunities for young Somalis in the country.
The agreement is part of pledges made by the state of Qatar to Somalia government last year to help the federal government in various areas of economic development.
Doha is already funding the construction of a strategic 120-kilometer road, renovation of key government installations and rebuilding of the Somali armed forces.
