ADDIS ABABA (Halbeeg News) – Djibouti and Sudanese Presidents will arrive in Oromia State on Saturday for a State visit to bolster the relations between the three countries.
Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti and Omar al-Bashir of Sudan are expected to land at Jimma Airport.
Ethiopian Prime minister, Abiy Ahmed and other officials from his government will receive the leaders at the airport, according to Abiy’s office.
PM Abiy and the leaders are expected to focus on trilateral and regional issues in their discussions.
“H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is set to welcome President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti at Jimma Airport, on the morning of December 8, 2018, for a visit to development projects in the city,” the office in a twitter post.
The leader will also discuss Ethiopia’s proposal to rump up the port services offered by two the countries.
