A state minister of security of South West administration and three other people were killed in a roadside bomb that hit their vehicle on Wednesday.
The minister, Abdikadir Abdirahman Baraf, Hirshabelle lawmaker, Ahmed Abdi Farah alias Kaboweyne, a driver and two bodyguards were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in was targeted with roadside explosion near Wanlaweyn district in middle Shabelle region.
According to reports, the minister was heading to Afgoye district after they returned from Balidogle town that they toured with the president of South West state Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden
No group has so far claimed the responsibility of the attack, but the government blames Al-shabab of behind such attacks.
