MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News)-At least eleven people were killed and more 15 others were wounded in Mogadishu twin explosions on Saturday.
Among fatalities is the deputy minister for labor, Sqawar Ibrahim Abdalla who was in his office during the attack which targeted the labor ministry premises in Shangani neighborhood.
Somali security agencies killed five gunmen who tried to gain access into the building shortly after suicide blasts.
Al-Shabaab militant group has since claimed the responsibility for the attack on its online news sites saying it targeted soldiers and government installations.
