MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Two vehicle Borne Improvise Explosive Devices have been detornated in Somali capital Mogadishu, residents confirmed.
According to witnesses, the first car laden with explosives went off near Sayidka Junction after the security intercepted.
The car driven by suspected al-Shabaab suicide drives tried to force its way through security forces manned checkpoint near Somali partliament building.
Another car packed with improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded at Km4 junction while undergoing security check.
It is to early to confirm the causulties caused by the blast.
No group has yet claimed the responsibility for the attacks.
The explosions which shuttered a monthlong peace in the capital amid Somali security forces stepped up security operations to smoke al-Shabaab members and its sympathiser in Mogadishu.
