MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – The governments of Djibouti and Turkey have agreed cooperate on healthcare following a meeting between Djibouti Health Minister Ahmed Roble Abdilleh and Turkey’s Ambassador to Djibouti Salim Levent Sahinkaya.
In a statement, Djibouti Health ministry said two officials discussed medical assessment of Djiboutian patients in Turkey.
The talks also focused on the training of Djiboutian doctors in Turkey, and the acquisition of medical materials and equipment.
Among other things agreed upon are new collaborative avenues on medical projects, twinning programs with Turkish hospitals, and building Turkish hospitals in the small African nation.
