MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Abdulkadir Ahmed-Kheir Abdi has met with the newly appointed Indonesian ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Soehadjono Sastromihardjo.
Mr. Sastromihardjo has submitted a copy of the credentials to the minister.
The officials discussed the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two also focused on efforts enhance the cooperation between the new ambassador and the Somali government.
Somalia and Indonesia have long-standing historical trade relations dating back to the 10th century based on mutual cooperation and trade.
