BAIDOA (Halbeeg News) – The leader of Southwest regional state of Somalia, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed and officials from the Turkish International Development Agency (TIKA) met in Baidoa on Tuesday.
The two sides discussed ways to cooperate on the implementation of development projects in the regional administration soon.
TIKA is interested in helping President Lafta-Gareen administration in the areas of health, education and reconstruction sectors.
Southwest state leader thanked the Turkish International Development Unit (TIKA) for the proposals.
He pledged to provide free education, quality health services and improve security during his election on December 19th last year.
With funding from Ottoman government, TIKA is currently executing various projects including the construction of a seven-story building which will host Somali national assembly in Mogadishu.
