The minister stated that the state government will not accept unnecessary land disputes and arguments that undermine the security of the region.
“The recent few days, land disputes have been on increase, two people argue over the ownership of land, the argument brings the sides to opt for use of armed militias than seeking amicably solution to the issue. This brings security threat in area and will not be tolerated” the minister said.
He called on the security forces to take stern action against anyone found going against the rules and the law.
On the other hand, the minister praised the efforts of the government forces carrying out offensives against Al-shabab fighters in Southwest territories.
He urged the local people to cooperate with the forces so as to materialize the efforts of defeating and neutralizing the threats of Al-shabab.
“First, we have to appreciate the efforts of our gallant forces defending the people from the threats of Al-shabab fighters and the work of law enforcement agencies that keep the law and order of the towns” he underlined.
