Brussels, (Halbeeg News) – The federal government of Somalia’s newly appointed ambassador to the European Union Khadija Osoble Ali Tuesday presented her credentials to Charles Michel, President of the European Council.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Khadija who will serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Somalia to the European Union highlighted the importance of Somalia-EU collaboration in addressing pressing regional challenges and fostering stronger partnerships for mutual growth and stability.
Ambassador Khadija expressed gratitude to Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud , for entrusting her with this esteemed role, as well as to her colleagues for their support.
She reaffirmed her commitment to advancing Somalia’s interests within the EU and emphasized the need for deeper engagement to address shared priorities.
