MOGADISHU ( Halbeeg News) – Somalia’s Deputy Minister for livestock, Abdikarim Khalif Abdi has resigned.
Abdi Dhalac announced his resignations via his official Facebook page saying the move is due to “Federal Government interference into Galmudug state internal affairs.”
He accused the Federal Government of direct interference on Galmudug issues mainly the upcoming regional polls slated in forthcoming weeks.
“I call upon the Federal Government to respect the constitution and the laws of the land and cease its interference on Galmudug state affairs.”
Abdikarim Khalif is a member of Lower House parliament representing Galmudug state in the Federal parliament.
His resignation follows days after President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo concludes reconciliation conference in Dhusamreb where various communities living in the state agreed to end their political differences and take part in the establishment of inclusive state administration in the upcoming Galmudug polls.
State leader, Ahmed Gelle Haaf administration will coordinate with Interior and Federal Affairs Ministry in the planning of the long-awaited polls.
