Mogadishu, (Halbeeg News) – The Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Turkey have formalized a new financial cooperation agreement aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and advancing defense collaboration.
The deal focuses on defense cooperation, underscores both nations’ commitment to building a strong, mutually beneficial partnership across various sectors.
The agreement was inked by Somalia’s Defense Minister, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, and Turkey’s Defense Minister, Yaşar Güler, during a high-level meeting attended by officials from both governments.
This signing reaffirms Turkey’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s recovery and long-term development efforts.
This latest development is expected to enhance defense capabilities, improve infrastructure, and foster broader cooperation between the two nations, further strengthening diplomatic ties.
