MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somalia on Sunday registered 38new coronavirus infections out 2,253 samples that were tested in the past 24 hours.
The ministry of health said, a total of 15,123 cases have been confirmed since mid March 2020 when the country recorded its first case.
According to the ministry, seven people recovered from the disease, making the total recoveries 7, 275.
The death toll of virus 781.
The Horn of Africa nation, which has recently experienced a surge of cases, received its first shipment of 300,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine through the international COVAX initiative to ensure that low- and middle-income countries receive vaccines.
