Addis Ababa (Halbeeg News) – Somalia and Mozambique have agreed to enhance their bilateral relations following talks between the diplomats from both countries.
Somali ambassador, Abdullahi Mohamed Warfaa, and Mozambican counterpart, Sergio Balio have discussed a range of issues, including security, trade, and investment.
The meeting which took place in Addis Ababa town. They also agreed to work together to promote cultural and educational exchanges.
According to Warfaa, the Somali administration is dedicated to improving ties with Mozambique. He emphasised the significance of the Somali population in Mozambique, calling it a tremendous asset to both countries.
The Somali diplomat said Somali people in Mozambique is critical to developing cultural interchange and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Warfaa said the meeting was a significant move towards increasing collaboration and developing Somalia-Mozambique relations.
Both diplomats agreed to increase cooperation in sectors like as security, trade, and investment would benefit both countries greatly.
They emphasized that cultural and educational exchanges will also contribute to the strengthening of relationships and mutual understanding between the peoples of Somalia and Mozambique.
