ROMA (Halbeeg News) – Somalia and Italy have agreed to enhance their bilateral relations talks in Rome.
In a statement, the Somali foreign ministry said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Isaak Mohamud Mursal met with his Italian counterpart, Mr Edmondo Cirielli.
The officials discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.
The meeting also focused on economic, commercial and political cooperation.
The minister discussed Somalia’s security and institutional reforms, in addition to the latest developments in the regional and international arenas of common concern.
