MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali and Italian governments have sealed an agreement aiming at exploring ways of enhancing brilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was jointly signed Somalia’s foreign minister, Abshir Omar Jama, and Italian Deputy PM Antonio Tajani. The agreement will also improve emergency services for Somali citizens.
The signing of this deal marks a significant step forward in the relationship between Somalia and Italy, demonstrating the two countries’ strong tie of friendship and collaboration.
According to a statement, Jama affirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthen the relationship between the countries. The Minister added that Somalia is committed to strengthen the economic and infrastructure links between countries.
The Italian Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, for his part, affirmed Italy’s readiness to partner with Somalia to help them realize its integration in road infrastructure.
