DOHA (Halbeeg News) – Somalia and Qatar have inked preliminary deal on Mutual Inclusion of Each Other’s Territories in the Service Areas of their Satellite Network’.
Minister of Post, Telecom and Technology of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdi Ashur Hassan have signed the agreement, on the sidelines of the Qatar IT Conference & Exhibition (QITCOM 2019).
The ministers discussed strengthening cooperation in postal and ICT services, along with addressing a number of other issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Somali ambassador to Qatar, Abdul Razak Farah.
Minister Anshur has attended the Qatar IT Conference & Exhibition (QITCOM 2019).
QITCOM is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar.
It is the largest information and communication technology (ICT)showcase in Qatar.
QITCOM 2019 is under the theme “SAFE SMART CITIES” and featured a host of international speakers, 300 technology exhibitors, 100 start-ups and many other eco system enablers.
It was aimed at gathering leading International smart city experts to discuss potential solutions to the challenges cities are facing.
