MOGADISHU ( HALBEEG NEWS) – Somalia’s largest telecommunication provider has announced an internet services shutdown on Saturday.
According to a statement by Hormud Telcom, the interruptions were caused by maintenance-related issues.
“Dear Customers, we are sorry to inform you that the internet will be shut down for maintenance purposes by the cable operator for an unspecified period of time.”
The company said it will provide backup internet for its subscribers.
“Please bear with us while the problem will be resolved. We will provide backup internet to our customers where possible.”
