DHUSAMAREB ( Halbeeg News) – The heads of Somali security chiefs are in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug regional state of Somalia.
The army chief, Major General Dahir Indho Qarshe, Police Commissioner, General Bashir Abdi Mohamed and Custodian corps commissioner, General Bashir Jama joined Somali premier, Hassan Ali Kheyre in inspecting the 21st division base of Somali armed forces where militias from Ahlu Suna Wal Jama will be registered and trained before integrated into the armed forces as per earlier agreement between the federal government and Sufi religious group signed on Monday.
The leaders called upon the new recruits to register for the process of remunerations and other armed forces related to social services.
Hassan Kheyre and Ahlu Suna leader, Sheikh Mohamed Shakir signed agreements among other arrangements including full operation of federal security agencies in the area, the establishment of reconciliation forum in Dhusamareb and conducting of regional state elections without delay.
Once the integration procedure is finalized, the new troops are expected to launch new operations against armed group al-Shabaab to liberate areas still under their control.
