MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali authorities in Somali regional state of Ethiopia have confirmed the arrest of suspected TPLF members in the region.
According to a statement from the regional authority, the individuals belonging to the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) which has been declared a terrorist organisation by the Federal Government were nabbed following a tip off from the members of the public.
The authorities said they dismantled TPLF sleeper cells who were planning to destabilize the region.
Police have also linked them to the recent classes between Oromos and Somalis.
