MOGADISHU ( HALBEEG NEWS) – The leader of Jubbaland state of Somalia Ahmed Mohamed Islam has joined his counterparts from Galmudug and Southwest state in congratulating the newly elected leadership of Hirshabelle State, Ali Gudlawe Hussein and his Deputy Yusuf Ahmed Hagar.
Ahmed Abdi Qoroqor and Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta Garen pledged to closely work with Mr. Gudlawe administration.
A statement from Ahmed Islam office on Friday praised the peaceful election process in the region urging the residents in the administration stable, democratic, and viable governance.

Hirshabelle regional assembly unanimously elected Former President Ali Gudlawe Hussein as regional leader and former Hiran governor Yusuf Ahmed Hagar as his deputy during elections in Jowhar on Wednesday.
The new leadership pledged to improve security, foster reconciliation, and advance relations with the federal government.
