Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre has sacked the minister of endowment and religious affairs, Hassan Moalim Hussein on Monday.
Somalia’s information minister,Dahir Mohamud Gelle has confirmed the dismissal of the minister of endowment and religious affairs.
The state minister of religious affairs, Abdihakim Hassan Ibrahim Ashkir was named to hold the ministry of acting basis.
This is the second time that Prime Minister Hassan Ali fires the religious affairs minister since taking office March 2017.
The dismissal of the minister comes a time the ministry was exerting efforts to reorganize the affairs of pilgrimage
