MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is to make his second visit to Sudan next week after receiving an official invitation.
Sources privy to invitation said the President and his delegation will be leaving for Khartoum to meet leaders of Sudan.
“The President will be travelling to Sudan next week following an official invitation from Khartoum authorities,” a source in Villa Somalia.
President Farmajo will hold a meeting with Sudanese President Omar el Bashir over a number of issues including the challenges that Somalia is facing, especially with regards to peace and security.
Among other issues, that will be discussed are bilateral relations and prospects for their development.
This is President Farmajo’s second state visit to Sudan following another one in October last year.
