The prime minister of Somalia Hassan Ali Khayre met Djiboutian president Ismail Omar Guelleh in Djiboutian capital on Thursday.
The talks between two leaders, Prime Minister Khayre and president Guelleh focused on strengthening the relations between the two countries and strengthening the security.
Prime minister Khayre appreciated the role of Djiboutian soldier under AMISOM and the support of the Djiboutian government in Somalia in terms of security and development.
“The issues we discussed include strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries. I thanked Djibouti for the fantastic job it is peace-keeping forces are doing in Somalia” said PM Khayre.
On his side, president Guelleh said he is delighted to see the achievements of the government adding that his government will maintain its close relation and support to the federal government of Somalia.

Djibouti has sent over one thousand peace-keeping troops to Somalia that operate in Beledweyne, Bula-burde, Jalalaqsi and other towns in Hiran region.
