NAIROBI (Halbeeg News)-Somali Prime minister, Hassan Ali Kheire on Monday travelled to Kenya for an official visit at the invitation of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The office of the prime said in a statement the Prime Minister Kheire and Kenyan leaders will hold talks on strengthening the relations between the two countries.
According to the statement, the sides will focus on political, security and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The prime minister is accompanied by several government officials including some of his cabinet members.
“Somali Prime minister, Hassan Ali Kheire has today travelled to Kenya for an official visit. The prime minister and Kenyan leaders will discuss on wide range issues,” the statement reads in part.
