DOHA ( Halbeeg News) – Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre met with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani at the sidelines of the Doha Forum on Saturday.
The two leaders discussed ways to boost existing bilateral ties between the two Arab League and Organization of the Islamic Cooperation members.
Qatari premier praised Somalia’s progress and reforms in various sectors under the leadership of President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Than also reiterated the commitment to continue Doha’s support for Mogadishu in key areas.
Somali Prime Minister is among various global leaders invited to attend the 19th session of Doha Forum.
He is scheduled to address the forum on Sunday.
Established in 2000, the Doha Forum is a platform for global dialogue on critical challenges facing our world.
The forum promotes the interchange of ideas, discourse, policymaking, and action-oriented recommendations.
