DOHA ( Halbeeg News) – Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre held talks with the Emir of State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Than in Doha on Sunday.
The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen already existing bilateral and development cooperation between the two Arab League and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) members.
The Somali Premier, Hassan Kheyre also briefed Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Than about the various progress made by his government in the past three years and measures to attract potential foreign investment into the country to boost the economy.
This is the second visit by Somali PM in the tiny Gulf state within the past five months.
Mogadishu and Doha share close diplomatic relations backed by the growing defense and humanitarian support since President Farmajo government took a neutral stand on the Saudi, UAE and Bahrain blockade on Qatar in June 2017.
