MOGADISHU ( Halbeeg News) – Somali parliament has on Saturday debated aviation, road and transport vehicle bill respectively.
The session was attended by 146 members and chaired by the speaker, Mohamed Mursal Sheikh.
After extensive discussions, the members passed the aviation bill to proceed to the second reading and first reading for road transport bill.
The two bills which will be pass second and third reading before final approval submitted to the upper house before handed for final presidential assent is crucial to recuperating transport sector in the country. However, the parliament needs to spend extra time to ensure the approval of the crucial bill before the end of the fifth session.
