MOGADISHU ( Halbeeg News) – Somali Lower House of parliament has approved public financial management bill on Wednesday.
The members unanimously passed the bill into law following an extensive debate during their session in the parliament building.
140 members present during the voting process, 135 approved while other five opposed the bill.
The speaker of the house, ambassador, Mohamed Mursal Abdirahman announced the new bill into law following the results.
The new law will be very significant in the financial management sector in the country.
On the other hand, the speaker of the House sent a strong warning to members who were absent from the session saying the assembly’s procedural law will decide their fate.
