MOGADISHU ( HALBEEG NEWS) – Somali Federal Parliament has unanimously approved a review on the 2020 financial year budget.
According to the Lower House record out of 146 members of parliament were present during the discussion.
143 voted to make changes while remaining three opposed and thus the speaker of the parliament Mohamed Mursal Sheikh announced the results, which will go-ahead for the implementation process.
Minister for Finance Abdirahman Duale Beyle who was present during the deliberation thanked the legislators for the review on the budget.
Dr. Beyle said the changes are key to his ministry in revising the national budget.
In December, the Federal Parliament approved about 459.5 million USD in a debate that created heated arguments in the national assembly.
