MOGADISHU (HOL) – Somali minister for labour, Duran Ahmed Farah has survived an apparent assassination attempt after an explosion near his convoy in the capital, Mogadishu.
The explosion happened this evening at KM-4 area.
According to sources, the blast which is suspected to have been caused by landmine happened minutes after the convoy of the minister passed the area. The sources confirmed that the minister was safe.
No group has yet claimed the responsibility for the attack.
