MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali Government dissolved trader’s body and formed temporary committee.
In a statement, Trade and Industry Minister Khalif Abdi Omar announced the dissolution saying the decision after emergence of complaints from traders and complications of the commerce.
He announced a new team which will be led by Abdullahi Osman from Hormuud Telecom to run the chamber.
Others are Abdiweli Mohamud Warsame (Somtel) and Hassan Ali Nur from Ali Moha General Trading.
The minister said his ministry will soon start the process to form leadership for the chamber and appointment will be conducted by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
