The Somali government has deployed hundreds of security forces in the Somali capital Mogadishu in a bid to boost security.
The officers will boost the security of the area by conducting night patrol in the city.
The well-armed officers will also provide support to the already active security agencies in the town.
Several new checkpoints have been mounted in the town a time Al-Shabab increased its attacks against Somali Military and government-controlled towns.
Among the roads the government deployed soldiers is Maka Almukaramma, the main roads linking different parts of the city.
The government has been busy to restore peace in the city which last year witnessed country deadliest attack ever known.
According to the officials of the government, the security of the town has improved in last two months as the command of the security was handed over to Mogadishu Stablisation forces.
During this period, the security forces launched operations in and around Mogadishu which saw the arrest of several Al-Shabaab suspects.
