Mogadishu, (Halbeeg News) –Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) commissioner Mohamud Moallim Abdulle Saturday held a meeting with local NGOs to discuss the organization’s continued contribution to humanitarian activities in Somalia.
The meeting came as fears emerged that some of the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) may be suspended from operating in Somalia arguing that the move was based on unfounded allegations.
The SoDMA commissioner said the National Disaster management Agency is dedicated to actively listening to all parties involved, ensuring a fair and balanced approach, and offering recommendations guided by objective information.
He further stated that SoDMA is fully committed to enhancing and optimizing the delivery of humanitarian aid.
