MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – At least six people have been killed and 12 others wounded after a bus they were travelling in was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
According to Somali News Agency, an explosion targeted a passenger bus travelling in a region outside Somalia’s capital.
Mohamed Ibrahim, governor of Lower Shabelle region said the attack happened on a road between Qoryoley and Marka districts and that another 12 people had been injured.
Ibrahim said a terrorist attack had caused the explosion.
