MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News)-Somali president, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has left the country on Tuesday morning for Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
Somali leader is scheduled to hold talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali during his visit.
According to Villa Somalia communications director, Abdinur Mohamed Ahmed, the two leaders will discuss ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two neighboring states while focusing on means to boost regional peace and development.
Senior federal government officials including state minister for foreign affairs and the international cooperation, Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheyr and other officials are part of the head of the state delegation.
The diplomatic relations between Somalia and Ethiopia has taken a new shape since Abiy Ahmed led government came to power in April last year.
Somalia, Ethiopia, and Eritrea formed a regional alliance to cooperate on peace, security and development rejuvenated by economic integration in the horn of the African region.
