MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo will on Wednesday travel to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a two-day official visit during which he will attend Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD Summit.
The President and his entourage are scheduled to left the country in the forthcoming hours.
The leaders of IGAD member states are expected to hold the 33rd extraordinary summit in Addis Ababa today against the backdrop of tectonic changes happening in the Horn of Africa region.
The Summit will focus on the discussions the Important decisions with enormous implication for regional peace and stability expected to be made.
Ethiopian Prime minister Abiy Ahmed, who is the current chairperson of the Bloc will chair the summit.
According to the Bloc, the main agendas of the summit will recent peace between South Sudan rivals, Eritrea-Djibouti, Ethiopia-Eritrea.
