MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is today expected to join other federal and regional Leaders ahead of national conference conference in Garowe town.
The president who will accompanied by several officials from his government will be leaving from Mogadishu in the forthcoming hours.
Several leaders from Somalia Federal government and its members states have already reached Garowe town.
The conference between federal leaders and administrators from member states is expected to kick off Saturday.
On late Friday, delegation led by Somali prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre arrived in Garowe.
The prime minister was welcomed by Puntland leader, Saed Abdullahi Dani and officials from government.
The meeting will also be attended by leaders from Jubbaland, Southwest, Galmudug and Hirshabelle states.
According to Puntland leader, the forum will be discussed on national issues, including the security, resource sharing, electoral process, and the constitutional review process.
