Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has lauded Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble for appointing a capable and inclusive government.
The head of state met with the new cabinet members in his official residence at Villa Somalia on Tuesday.
The President praised the premier particularly for giving women and youth an opportunity to serve in his administration.
“The President commended Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble for building a capable government, its significant role in youth, women, and its emphasis on building on the country’s development achievements.” The office of the President tweeted.
The new cabinet is composed of 70 cabinet members including 27 ministers, 17 state ministers, and 26 deputies.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister, the Finance, Planning and International Cooperation dockets were retained in the new cabinet.
