MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has appointed Dr. Nur Diriye Hersi as the director of Villa Somalia on Wednesday.
Dr. Hersi will take over from Amina Said Ali who was described by the president as an individual who sacrificed her time to serve the nation.
The new director who was among the advisors of the head of state before his new post will be the fourth manager of the highly fortified presidential residence in a period of two years.
Dr Nur Diriye Hersi is an engineer by profession who worked as a university professor in various local and international universities including Somalia, US, Canada, and UAE.
