MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Gedo Regional Reconciliation Commission has concluded their investigation ahead of the country’s parliamentary and presidential elections.
The committee on Wednesday handed over their final report to prime minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble.
PM Roble said Jubaland leader Ahmed Madobe will appoint administration for Garbaharey,
“I assure the people of Somalia that today all that remains is for President Ahmed Madobe to issue a decree to the Garbaharey district administration which has been submitted to me [with the names], and I will submit it to the president,” he said.
The Commission was appointed two months by PM Roble and was tasked with creating a secure and political environment where a free and fair election can be held for the Garbaharey district leadership.
