The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned Friday’s twin bomb blasts in Mogadishu that killed close to thirty people.
In a statement, Yousef Bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed concern over the recent attacks which are intended to destabilize the country that is recovering from over two decades of civil war.
Al-Othaimeen extended condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the blasts.
Al-shabab suicide bombers had on Friday evening attacked Mogadishu with cars laden with explosives.
The first blast occurred near Dorbin Hotel followed another one near Somali presidential palace.
According to the medics, over twenty eight people were killed and more 20 others injured in the double blasts.
Al-shabab immediately claimed the responsibility of the attacks saying they killed 15 soldiers in Friday’s attack.
